Guidance of Zoho Mail Sign up/Sign in Issue.



Introduction:-

Zoho mail is the best email platform that provides a mixture of ad-free, clean, minimalist interface and powerful characteristics that are adapted for business and professional use and it was established in 1996. It is a web-based online office suite consists of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, databases, customer relationship management (CRM) and many more. Zoho mail offers various features such as instant chat, migration option, multiple accounts, control panel and many more. They provide a solution for information technology and management platform. Zoho mail suite has Zoho Docs, it means that you can create, collaborate and edit text, presentation as well as spreadsheet documents.

Sign in to Zoho Mail
It offers a single-log-on and once the user sign into any Zoho application, so the user can access directly to the other applications in the same browser.

Organization user Sign in
In an organization, the user who sign-in for the first time so, they have to use the sign-in email address and the password which is provided by the administrators. After sign in so, the user can change their password from the accounts section.

Personal user Sign in
While creating an account, the user would have chosen the email address and the password and during sign up, they can also use their phone numbers.

Control Panel Sign in
In this, an organization administrator or super administration can sign in and access the control panel and they can write their Zoho account credentials. If they already have logged in their Zoho Mail account, they can tap on the control panel link.

Domain-based Business account sign up- Zoho Mail
If the user sign up for custom domain based email address like me@mydomain dot com or info@mydomain dot com, select any plans from the Zoho Mail Pricing page and tap Sign Up and if the user want to Sign up and need a domain based custom account, so the user needs to have the required permissions to access the DNS manager of the domain.

Personal Account Sign Up- Zoho Mail
If the user does not have a domain or the user need to sign up Zoho Mail account for personal communications so, the user chooses a unique username, and mobile number will be required for verification purpose. The required information for Sign Up such as name, email address, password, and mobile number.

Federated Sign In
In Zoho, the user can sign up using a Google / Yahoo / Facebook account and create an account to use the Zoho services via Federated Sign in. The user will not need a separate password for Zoho and they can use the Federated Sign-in, as long as you use only webmail.
If the user wants to access via POP/IMAP or Active Sync or Email forwarding so the user needs to generate and use the password specific to Zoho.

Change Primary Email address
The primary email address is used for verification and password reset-purpose only.

Procedure for changing the Primary Email Address

Step 1:- Sign in to www dot Zoho dot com/mail.

Step 2:- Tap on Avatar, then select my account.

Step 3:- Select my profile info in the Zoho accounts dashboard.

Step 4:- Under Email Address, all the email address associated with your account.

Step 5:- Select Make primary if the user wants to change an existing secondary email address, as primary.

Step 6:- Tap on the edit icon and provide the new email address (if the user wants to add a new email).

Step 7:- Finally, you will receive the notification for verification in the provided address.

Password Change

Procedure for changing the current password:-

Step 1:- Sign in to Zoho Mail.

Step 2:- Tap on Avatar, then choose my account.

Step 3:- This shows in Zoho accounts dashboard.

Step 4:- Now, Choose Security section.

Step 5:- Provide the current password in the change password section.

Step 6:- Enter the new password and again enter the new password.

Step 7:- See the Terminate all active web browser sessions/ Terminate mobile app sessions in your device and remove active API.

Step 8:- Finally tap on save.

Forgot Password

Procedure for forgotten account password:-

Step 1:- Tap on forgot password in the sign in page.

Step 2:- Type the email address or Mobile.

Step 3:- Tap on request.

Step 4:- Choose the mode of password reset, i.e. reset link emailed or verification code sent to your mobile number.

Step 5:- Tap on the reset link, or enter the verification code.

Step 6:- Type a new password, and then tap change.

Step 7:- At the last, you can log in by type the new password.
